Sakura Taisen

No, you haven't picked up the last issue of Video Game Magazine dedicated to
the Sega Saturn. No, I'm here to talk puroresuring. Women's
Puroresuring that is!!
First JIWWA makes it's big return!! Now most y'all read my full report
and all I can add to what was already said was... WOW!! All this and
the second card from Yokohama Bunka Gym looks even better. Now having
scanned the booking sheet for that event makes my mouth water, especially the
headline match. Medusa Rage teams with Robin Blaze against Hurricane
ARASHI and Diamond Kenyuki.
This brings me to #2. Blaze is back in Japan. That means trouble,
especially for one young established star in RINGST*RS. Blaze has quite
a reputation. A reputation for getting in these little feuds that
escalate into whole scale wars. Need an example?
Does anyone remember the name Rekka Sakura?
Still considered by many to be the most violent women's feud without the word
"deathmatch" used in the title, Sakura/Blaze was the cornerstone of
the SJPW Women's Division. It was violent, it was bloody and most
importantly it was a draw at the box-office. Every singles match the
two wrestled was won by Blaze. 1997 was the year everyone noticed
Rekka, she was recognized as the best Woman Wrestler in Japan and even
captured the All Asian Women's title. Then why couldn't the best in
Japan beat Blaze?
Since then both Blaze and Sakura moved on. Sakura trying her hand in
IEWA for a brief stay and eventually landing in NPWA (she maintained her GDWA
license till the fed shut down. Many regard her match with Sierra
Browne as Match of The Year). Blaze also landed in NPWA, even attacking
Sakura at one point. Blaze is currently signed to IEWA but also MAY
have signed a deal for JIWWA. Rumors are popping up that Rekka MAY have
inked a deal with RINGST*RS. RINGST*RS and JIWWA have a working
agreement. Anyone see a problem?
There is a war just waiting to erupt here in Japan. Sakura still aches
to score a singles win over Blaze. Blaze loves to taunt Sakura through
the media (rumor has it she made Sakura cry at a press
conference). Dear lord enough talking already. RINGST*RS,
JIWWA... SIGN THE DAMN MATCH!!
