Japan Independent Women's Wrestling Association, April 5th, 1998 [Kamikaze Hearts returns with Kasuga Miyazaki standing in center ring] KM: Ladies and Gentlemen, this match is YOUR Main Event!! [a large crowd pop at this announcement… this is the mach everyone has been waiting for] It is for the World Women's Wrestling Independent Championship!! It is scheduled for 1 fall with a 60 minute time limit. Introducing first, the challenger… ["War Machine' by Kiss blasts over the PA, slowly Terra appears on the runway, arms folded over her chest, a white towel wit ha red "T" draped over her shoulders. She wears Slowly she walks to the ring to a strong pop from the crowd in Korakuen] KM: Weighing tonight at determined 190 pounds, she stands at 5'5 of the MEANEST WOMAN YOU EVER LAID EYES ON!! LADIES AND GENTLEMEN THIS IS…. TERRA!! [Terra climbs through the ropes to a strong pop, a faction has already begun a chant "TER-RA!!" followed by two claps. Terra goes to the blue corner, ignoring the fans as she stretches for the match] KM: Her opponent, World Women's Wrestling Independent Champion… ["Intercourse" by Zeni Geva blasts over the PA. Baby Hotta appears at the rampway entrance, the 3WI title strapped securely around her waist. Her hair in two ponytails on the sides of her head. , wearing a yellow tank-top and baggy camouflage pants and a smudge of black paint under her right eye. Her black combat boots have a high polish to them.] KM: Weighing in tonight at 135 pounds, former All-Asian Women's Champion, THE 3WI CHAMPION… BABY HOTTA!! [The crowd response for Hotta is LOUD!! People are stomping their feet against the floor of Korakuen Hall. Hotta plays up to the fans, her arms raised above her head in fists as she walks defiantly to the ring. Slowly she lowers her right hand and points a finger at Terra] KM: Your Referee for this match, Ryu Takada. Shinji: The match we've all been waiting for!! Well Rex, Hotta's first title defense sure couldn't have been against a tougher opponent. Rex: Got that right Fukubi!! Big Bad Terra gets to reclaim her title of "WAR Machine" by taking out the so-called champ!! I predict that we'll see a new champ crowned tonight! [Hotta and Terra meet in center ring. Hotta removes the title belt from around her waist and folds it neatly, handing it to Ryu Takada. Takada holds the belt in the air before handing it to the timekeeper. Takada signals and the bell rings] Shinji: And we are off and running!! Hotta and Terra are circling each other in the ring [Hotta ties up with Terra and tries to back her up] Not really the way to go against a powerhouse like Terra!! [Terra tosses Hotta off and poses down. Hotta smiles at her from her knees] Terra trying some intimidation but Hotta is well known for mind games herself. Another collar an elbow tie-up here [Terra powers Hotta back to the ropes, Takada asks for a break.] Terra with a clean break perhaps? [Terra breaks but then unloads with a BRUTAL overhead chop] Rex: DAMN!! Did you see the power in that chop Fukubi? You better believe Terra is going to give Hotta EVERYTHING she's got an more!! Shinji: Takada warning Terra, who still has Hotta against the ropes [Terra unloads with a knife edge chop and another and another] What power by the challenger!! [Terra goes for another chops but Takada grabs her hand and orders her to back off] Ryu Takada isn't going to let this denigrate into a brawl [Terra looks at Takada in anger as Hotta slides away grabbing her chest] Those blows had their impact and I think Hotta knows now that to get in a fight with Terra would be a terrible mistake [Hotta circles the ring as Terra turns to face her] Rex: Terra is trying to establish her dominance early, something which she needs to do. She has to make it seems like she is invulnerable!! She has to get the "You can't hurt me" attitude across, she has to make Hotta FEAR her!! Shinji: Hotta now rebounding off the ropes, clothesline by Terra, duck under by Hotta [Terra shoots to the ropes, Hotta comes off the rebound and slides under Terra's legs and then unloads with a European uppercut] Hotta now fighting back!! Uppercut!! Uppercut!! [Hotta switches to chops] Knife edge!! Knife Edge!! Terra is backing up!! [Hotta lays in another chop and then unleashes a headbutt on Terra, sending the challenger to the mat] TERRA IS DOWN!! Rex: Hotta is trying to come on strong at this early point to show that she ain't afraid but how long can it last? I mean Terra is a monster just looking to dismantle the champ!! Shinji: Hotta with a pick-up and Irish whip on Terra. Both women off the ropes... DROPKICK BY HOTTA!! [Terra stagers back, falling through the ropes] Hotta now backing up... Rex: What the heck is she doing? Shinji: I have no id.. SUGOI!! [Hotta dives between the second and third ropes, tackling Terra on the floor] Hotta is on fire against the bigger challenger [Hotta grabs Terra and tosses her back in the ring] Hotta on the ring apron now and climbing through the ropes as Terra scrambles to get to her feet [Hotta approaches Terra and is met with a shoulder to the gut] OH!! Terra was playing possum!! She took a beating was waiting for an opportunity to strike!! Rex: She's a lot more devious than most people give her credit for!! She's playin' her cards just right!! She's not rushin' a thing, takin' her time and choosin' her moments perfectly!! Shinji: Hotta doubled over as Terra gets to her feet... Terra with a fast knee-lift sends the champion to the mat. [Terra picks up Hotta and hooks her in] Hotta set-up now as Terra lets off a QUICK snap suplex!! [ Terra backs-up a little and waits for Hotta to get up] Hotta looking a little stunned by the knee-lift suplex combo is now getting to her feet... [Terra charges and NAILS Hotta with a clothesline] Running lariat by Terra sends Hotta to the mat Rex: But Hotta is back up already!! More guts than brains is my guess!! Shinji: Hotta up and clotheslined back down again [Hotta gets up, EXTREMELY DAZED] and here comes Terra.... LARIAT!! [Hotta flips over landing on her stomach] DEAR LORD THAT TOOK THE CHAMP'S HEAD OFF!! [Terra picks up Hotta and applies front standing chinlock] What is she trying for here?[Terra picks up Hotta and falls back with her] Reverse T-Bone Terra-plex!! Did you see Hotta's head ricochet of the mat? Terra wit ha cover!! 1!! 2!! [Hotta kicks out, not necessarily strong but not really a weak kick out either] NO!! 2 and 1/2!! Rex: No!! The champ is tougher than that, I'm willin' t'admit that much!! Terra has to really work her over, don't let her mat wrestle ya and for God sake's don't let her get to your inside game! Shinji: Terra dragging the champion to her feet and whipping her to the corner!! [Hotta collides back first as Terra follows in with a clothesline] OH!! What incredible impact that was!! Hotta looks out of it!! KM: 5 minutes gone by in the time limit , 55 minutes remain!! Rex: It's early and The Champion is in trouble!! This thing won't go past 10 minutes because there ain't no way Hotta can last 5 more with the REAL War Machine!! Shinji: Terra whipping the champ to the opposite corner... NO!! Reversal by the champion!! Terra Smashes into the turnbuckles and staggers out and here comes the champ [Hotta lays Terra out with a Spinwheel Leg Lariat] WOW!! What turn around for the champ [Hotta gets to her feet slowly, grabbing Terra by the hair] Both women up, Hotta is in control though [Hotta unloads with a barrage of martial arts kick on Terra's right knee. Kick after kick land until Terra falls to the mat clutching the knee in pain] WHAT FURY!! Rex: Hotta has a tendency to explode when ya least expect it!! She's a firecracker with a little bit of TNT mixed in for good measure and in a wrestling match that is an element you have to be wary of!! Shinji: Hotta now grabs Terra by the ankle and YANKS on that leg!! [Terra screams in pain] Knee-drive by Hotta followed by another yank!! Terra is feeling the effects of Hotta's work now!! [Hotta spins Terra's leg around and slaps on the figure four leglock] And this where Hotta has been known to excel, that submission style of wrestling!! [Hotta turns on the knee making Terra scream more] Terra has been known to work submissions but her main attribute is power!! [Terra clenches her fists in anger, sitting up in agony] Look at the pain on Terra's face! How much more can she stand? Rex: She's double tough!! She'll make it through just fine!! She's a royal ass stomper that ain't gonna let no figure four do her in!! Shinji: Hotta now pulls back on the legs and Terra falls back!! Ryu Takada is in position!! 1!! 2!! [Terra sits up shaking her head] Shinji: What guts on the part of the challenger!! [Terra bites her lip in frustration and starts to reach for the ropes] Terra trying to get out but she's in the middle of the ring!! [Terra tugs, moving both her and Hotta closer] Hotta now breaking the hold and dragging Terra to center ring again [Hotta stomps on Terra's leg] Rex: Hotta is bein' VERY aggressive this match, stayin' focused on the attack!! 2 minutes ago she was gettin' beaten up and now she's in control!! That's a solid wrestler! Shinji: Hotta now going for the figure four again [Terra counters with a small package roll-up] NO!! Counter!! 1!! 2!! [Hotta kicks out] Shinji: Hotta was caught off guard by that!! She quickly picks Terra up and tosses her to the corner!! [Terra collides front first into the turnbuckle and staggers back a few feet] Hotta from behind.. full nelson into a DRAGON SUP.. NO!! Terra with a back kick between the legs breaks the hold up!! Rex: That could've been a finish right there Fukubi! Hotta has had the advantage long enough now that a dragon suplex could've ended he whole thing!! But Terra knew where she was and what she had to do!! Shinji: Hotta now hunched over wincing in pain [Terra crawls to the ropes, grabbing the middle rope to help stand] Both women on their feet, Hotta now stalking over to Terra [Terra kicks Hotta in the gut, stopping a double ax-handle attempt] NO!! Hotta gets stopped cold!! Terra with another kick doubles the champ over!! [Terra quickly wristlocks Hotta and takes her over in a belly to belly suplex] Terra now trying to regain the momentum she had earlier!! KM: 10 minutes gone by in this match, 50 minutes remain!! Rex: We're past ten minutes and Terra just regained the advantage, just like I knew she would!! The girl has guts and a heart that pumps oil.. Why? Because she's a machine!! Shinji: Terra on her feet now, setting the Champion between her legs [Terra picks up Hotta and nails a piledriver] PILEDRIVER BY THE CHALLENGER!! Hotta is Finished!! Terra just needs to cover her!! [Terra drapes an arm over Hotta] 1!! 2!! [Hotta lifts her arm up suddenly] Shinji: NO!! The champ hangs on!! Terra now looking a little winded, dragging the champ to her feet and picking her up into a firemen's carry... AIRPLANE SPIN!! [Terra spins around with Hotta on her shoulders, Hotta squirming desperately to get free] Hotta's squirming is causing terra loose her footing... Rex: She's outta control!! She isn't planted I in the same spot he started in and that's taking her near the ropes!! Shinji: Terra spinning closer and closer to the ropes and... [Terra spins into the ropes causing her to dump over the top with Hotta still on her back] DEAR LORD WHAT A SPILL! Hotta looks like she hit her head on the ring apron!! [Both Terra and Hotta lie motionless on the floor as Ryu Takada starts to lay in his count] Ryu Takada: 1... 2... 3... Rex: Hotta showing some signs of life as she rolls onto her stomach. Terra Seems just plain laid out, I'd be hard pressed to stand after a fall like that!! This will definitely affect her performance!! Shinji: Hotta now slowly rising to her feet and gets a hair pick-up on her challenger [Terra is slowly dragged to her feet as Hotta sets up an Irish whip] Ryu Takada: 4... 5... 6... Shinji: Hotta with the whip and... SHIMATTA!! TERRA COLLIDES WITH THE RINGPOST!! [Terra's head oozes a thin stream of blood as Hotta stalks her slowly] Hotta now jumping on the ring apron and looming over a prone challenger, what set up could this be? [Hotta gets a running start and jumps off with a flying elbow smash. She crashes down on Terra with force] What brutality!! The champ is really in control!! Rex: Hotta is willing to sacrifice her body like her last name is Foley!! That elbow really blasted Terra, but don't count the kid out yet!! Ryu Takada: 7... 8... 9... Shinji: Hotta gets Terra on her feet and tosses her in the ring again. It looks like the youngster may have bitten off more than she could chew with the champ [Hotta steps through the ropes as Terra crumples to the mat] Terra has taken a tremendous beating!! She must have a concussion of some kind from that spill [Hotta hooks Terra and rolls her over] La Majistral Cradle, this is over [Takada drop into position] 1... 2... [Terra kicks out leading to a HUGE pop] Rex: JUMPIN' CATFISH!! I DON'T BELIEVE IT!! She just won't give in that easily!! This thing SHOULD be done but she WON'T let it be done!! Shinji: Hotta looks a tad frustrated, she thought she had this one won [Hotta scoops up Terra and slams her down] Baby Hotta coming off the ropes now and she connects with a legdrop and goes for the cover 1!!! 2!!! Shinji: NO!! Terra is holding for all it's worth!! She isn't going down with out a fight!! Rex: Hotta needs to come on stronger if she wants to polish this kid off. She has the skills to really surprise the champ if the champ gets cocky!! Shinji: Hotta now sets Terra up I n the corner and sends her for the ride... NO!! TERRA REVERSES AND HOTTA SMASHES INTO THE TURNBUCKLES!! Rex: AND LOOK OUT!! HERE COMES A FREIGHT TRAIN!! [Terra storms in after Hotta, nailing with a vicious clothesline] Shinji: Hotta is back up but Terra takes her down with another lariat!! Hotta's up, now she's down!! Hotta up one more time as Terra comes off the ropes [Terra jumps and nails the champ with devastating flying shoulder tackle] TERRA IS FIRED UP!!! Hotta is trying to scramble to the outside but terra now grabs her by the hair and unleashes a savage headbutt!! Hotta is down!! Terra now dragging the champ to her feet and applying a hammerlock [Terra picks up Hotta and slams her down on the arm, kicking hard for good measure] Rex: Terra is trying to work in the arm damage to set up for a submission hold. She works the arm, I mean REALLY works the arm, keeping Hotta on the mat and then goes in for the Armbar or something like that. She don't wanna play no speed game!! Shinji: Terra now grabbing Hotta's arm and dragging her to her feet. Terra now wrings the arm slowly and now... [Terra flips Hotta over shoulder and yanks the arm ferociously] A judo throw by the challenger has the champion in trouble. Hotta is up again but again Terra throws her down to the mat again!! [Hotta gets to one knee as Terra twists the slowly. The Champ slaps her arm in frustration] Ryu Takada checking with Hotta if she wants to give] Hotta: AIIIIEEEEEE!! NO!! NO!! NO!! NO!! Rex: Baby Hotta is tough, that much is evident, I mean you don't become 3WI champ by being a candy-ass, y'know what I'm sayin? Shinji: Terra now backing Hotta to the ropes and sends the champ for the ride. Hotta rebounds, Terra with a clothesline, duck under by Hotta. Hotta rebounds from the opposite side, Terra turns.. SUPERKICK!! Hotta nails the challenger square!! [Terra stands in the center of the ring slightly dazed as Hotta grabs a handful of hair and rams Terra's head into the turnbuckles] Crowd: 1!! 2!! 3!! 4!! 5!! 6!! 7!! 8!! 9!! 10!!!!! [huge pop as Terra staggers out of the corner, the cut on her forehead visibly larger] Shinji: Hotta back on the attack now, getting a running start and... BULLDOG!! A cover by the champion!! 1!! 2!! Rex: NO!! Foot on the ropes!! Terra had ideal ring positioning on that one!! Chances are she could have kicked out anyway but she knows she needs to save her strength!! Shinji: Hotta now looking a little frustrated as she hooks Terra in, reeling in the leg for a fisherman's suplex!! Takada is set perfectly... 1!! 2!! Shinji: 2 and 3/4!! Terra is in desperate trouble here!! That cut is open wide and blood loss is bound t to affect her performance!! [Hotta sets Terra up, locking in a front face lock] Possible DDT coming up [Terra starts to punch Hotta in the gut, weakening the hold] Terra now getting a waistlock of her own in [Terra wraps her arms tight around Hotta's waist and springs back] NORTHERN LIGHTS SUPLEX!! Hotta's shoulders are down and Terra is on her toes!! 1!! 2!! 3... Rex: NO WAY!! Takada is showin' 2!! That was damn near close to bein' the end of the match!! Terra was inches from bein' the champ!! KM: 20 minutes elapsed in the time limit! 40 minutes remain!! Shinji: Hotta was caught off guard by that move and is taking her time to recover but Terra is sitting right up!! Terra on her feet and grabbing Hotta [Terra waistlocks Hotta from behind and drags her up] Possible suplex here... RELEASE GERMAN TERRA-PLEX!! Hotta just slammed into the mat head first!! Rex: Terra is getting every ounce of self-confidence she needs!! She has to stay one Hotta and work that arm!! I mean really tear it to shreds!! Shinji: Terra now grabs the champion's arm and wrenches it into a standing chicken wing!! This could be the end of Hotta's reign as 3WI champion!! [Terra pushes forward, driving Hotta into the mat face first] They both hit the mats but Terra still has that chicken wing applied and is doing her damnedest to tear Hotta's arm out!! [Hotta squirms in pain as Terra applies more pressure to the hold] This has got to be pure agony!! Rex: Hotta is gonna have to rely on every ounce of strength she has left to fight off this hold!! To long in it and she could get a separated shoulder and then it would be easy pickins for the challenger!! Shinji: Hotta's in a real gut check right now!! She's reaching for that bottom rope strand and is just inches away from escaping this hold!! [Hotta inches ever closer to the ropes as Terra pulls back on the chicken wing] HOTTA GETS TO THE ROPES!! [Ryu Takada orders Terra to break but she refuses] Terra giving the ref a hard time now about breaking the hold... Ryu Takada: 1... 2... 3... 4... [Terra breaks the hold] Ryu Takada: You break when I say break, you hear me? Rex: Takada has got to be strong with both these women, I mean there is such intensity here, Terra looks like she could rip ol' Ryu's head off right now!! Shinji: Terra now getting in Takada's face as Hotta holds her arm against the ropes. This match has just been so volatile!! [Hotta slowly gets to her feet and watches Terra argue with the ref] Hotta is up and looks to be regaining her advantage... [Terra turns as Hotta charges at her with a clothesline] NO!! Terra saw it coming and ducked!! Hotta of the opposite side and... TERRA GETS HER BY THE THROAT!! URANGE THROAT SLAM!! Rex: This does it!! Terra just has to cover and this match is hers! We got us a new champ Fukubi!! Terra is gonna face Rage at the Dome!! Shinji: Terra has easy pickings right now, it's just a matter of pinning Hotta!! [Terra falls to her knees and...] Rex: What the hell is she doin? Shinji: She's trying to get the red hook wrap applied!! She's going for a submission when all she needed was a pin! [Terra starts to apply the hold but as the choke is applied Hotta starts squirming] Hotta struggling to stay alive in this match!! Terra doesn't have the whole fully applied yet and it won't be any easier with Hotta struggling that way!! [Hotta squirms free as Terra stomps after her] Terra is angry!! Its her own fault though! She had the match all but won!! [Terra picks up Hotta and whips her to the ropes] Hotta on the rebound, Terra ducking down for a backdrop BUT HOTTA COUNTERS WITH A SWINGING NECKBREAKER!! Rex: NO!! She isn't thinking straight!! That little foul up is affecting her in ring thinking and that will definitely hurt the more the match goes on!! Shinji: Hotta and Terra are both down now, but Hotta is one her knees and.. OH NO! She's biting Terra's head wound!! She's gone wild!! [Hotta gets up and front-waistlocks Terra] Snap suplex by the champion now!! Terra is down!! Hotta now measuring the youngster up as she drops an elbow, and another elbow and another!! Hotta is a house of fire now as she grabs her opponent and gets she gets her from behind and.. COBRA CLUTCH!! Hotta is going for the submission!! Rex: Don't bet on that!! That can easily be modified into... [Hotta snaps back with Terra] Shinji: THE COBRA SUPLEX! What a second half Hotta is having!! Terra now clutching her head after being dropped on it so suddenly!! [Hotta signals to the crowd who pop loud as sign for the Hotta War-plex]Hotta giving the sign! She grabs Terra and gets pump ready... [Terra backdrops Hotta and then crumple to the mat, her cut bleeding profusely] Terra is out of it and it looks like Hotta landed on her arm!! Rex: Geez!! Both these chicks are gonna need at least a month to recover for this match!! Shinji: Ryu Takada starting his count as Hotta clutches her arm in severe pain!! Terra is down on the mat, she needs to get up, this is critical!! Ryu Takada: 1... 2... 3... Rex: C'mon Terra girl!! Get up, the title is in your grasp! Shinji: Terra now has managed to roll over on her back but Baby Hotta is still on the mat clutching that arm!! [Terra slowly starts to crawl to the ropes in order to get up] This match is everything we thought it would be and more!! KM: 30 minutes have elapsed, 30 minutes remain!! Rex: Half way mark and neither can barely stand!! This is just competition at its best!! Shinji: Terra now using the ropes for support as Hotta gets to one knee but the pain on her face speaks volumes!! [Ryu Takada goes over to Hotta and checks on her arm, Hotta keeps shaking her head and saying no] Terra now is up looking dazed from both loss of blood and being dropped on her head!! Hotta now on her feet but still clutching that arm!! Terra no kicks Hotta in the gut doubling the champ over!! Terra now quickly setting Hotta up for a suplex and... HIGH ANGL VERTICAL SUPLEX! Rex: and she hasn't dropped Hotta yet!! She's goin' for hanging suplex and man is Hotta Hanging! Shinji: Hotta still in the air and Terra drops down with it!! SUSPENDED BRAIN BUSTER!! HOTTA IS DOWN!! RYU TAKADA IS THERE FOR THE COUNT!! 1!! 2!! Shinji: HOTTA KICKED OUT!! HOTTA KICKED OUT!! Rex: GREAT CEASAR'S GHOT!! NOW I'VE SEEN IT ALL!! That count had to be slow!! There was no way Hotta can be conscious after that!! The fix has go to be in!! Shinji: And Terra is furious!! She can't believe it!! [Terra slaps the mat in pure rage, unable to accept the 2 count] Hotta is slowly getting to her feet now and Terra sees red!! [Terra charges full force but Hotta counters by ducking down and pulling the top rope down] TERRA JUST DOVE OF THE RING APRON AND COLLIDES WITH THE RAILING!! [Hotta falls down in the center of the ring as Terra is out on the floor, blood oozing from her head] This match has to be stopped!! It's just to brutal to keep going this way!! Rex: Spirit competition Fukubi!! They want to claim to be the best, well now they're provin' it!! Shinji: Terra now rolling over on her stomach, trying to get to her knees as Hotta lies prone in the ring!! Terra now using the ring apron to climb back in, this can't go much longer!! [Terra rolls on and stands against the ropes.. barely!!] Terra staggers over to Hotta and now props her up in the corner [Terra unloads with stiff closed fisted shots on Hotta's head] Rex: lookit that!! She's goin' fer a KO!! A good ol' fashioned knock out!! Shinji: Takada warning Terra to keep those shots open handed as she sets up Hotta [Terra lifts Hotta up and places her on the top turnbuckle] We could be seeing a superplex in the making [Terra climbs the Turnbuckles but is met with kicks by Hotta] Hotta still fighting to stay alive in this match, she doesn't want to go down without a fight!! Terra still trying to climb the turnbuckles but she's staggering... TERRA FALLS!! Hotta on the top rope as Terra is down on the mat. turn around by Hotta into a... MOONSAULT!! [Hotta lands squarely on Terra with a loud thud] Rex: This could be the icing on the cake!! Hotta might pull it off... 1!! 2!! [Terra kicks out] Shinji: NO!! So close!! Hotta isn't giving up though, bad arm and all!! She picks Terra up and sets between her legs [with a supreme effort Hotta lifts Terra up for a powerbomb] Terra up high, Hotta now with... A RUNNING LIGER BOMB!! [Terra gets crushed into the mat] Ryu Takada dives in to make the count!! 1!! 2!! [Terra barely kicks out!!] Rex: SLOW DOWN!! GEEZ!! I'm havin' a heart attack hear!! How is Hotta still workin' with that bad arm? She's like a pain junkie!! Shinji: Hotta grabs Terra again and backs her to the ropes, Irish whip by Hotta.. NO!! Reversal by Terra!! She grabs the arm and... CROSS ARMBREAKER!!! Hotta's arm has got to be numb!! [Both women lie on the , Hotta clutching her and terra trying to catch some air] Terra now slowly crawls over and grabs the champs arm, what's she doing? [Terra slaps the arm between her knees and applies a cross face] A cross face armbar by this powerful woman that just won't give-up! Rex: Its got to be over!! Hotta can barely use that arm!! She has got to be weak as a kitten!! I see Terra wearin' that gold any minute now!! Shinji: Hotta's holding out!! She won't give in despite the fact that her arm has got to be burning with pain!!
