Super Japan Pro Wrestling, April 26th, 1998 Ring Announcer: This next match is one fall, 30 minute time limit. Introducing Team #1, from Tokyo, Japan, MASA KO-KURA, RIKI "THUNDER" KANO, The TOKYO EXPRESS!!!!! (As "History of Rock and Roll part 2" by Gary Glitter plays, the Express head to the ring. Masa Kokura has shoulder length brown hair which he usually keeps in a ponytail. He has Purple eyes, and is thin but muscular. He has no body hair, and his body is bronzed like some Asian god. He is wearing black long tights [same style tights that Chono wears with all the padding on them] with no writing on them. He wears knee length boot that buckle in the back. Riki Kano has a towel covering his head as he walks to the ring, and a red jacket with a lightning bolt on the back of the jacket. When he enters the ring, he throws the towel to the crowd. He has a black hair in a buzzcut, green eyes, and is light skinned for an Asian. he has a lightning bolt tattoo on his left bicep, and a Tazmanian Devil tattoo on his right calf. He is wearing a red singlet, and short red boots. Fans clap approvingly, and streamers land in the ring) ER: The fans seem to like them. I guess it helps that they are from Tokyo. AO: So? They are pretty boys. Look at Kano; who cut his hair? He looks like someone took a lawnmower to his head! Here come Badd Intentions. These two men are tough! Ring Announcer: Introducing Team #2, from the Deep, Dark corner of the Arctic, and Seattle, Washington, USA, BIG CHILL, NICK PATERA, BADD INTENTIONS!!! (As "Dirty Deeds (Done Dirt Cheap)" by AC/DC plays, Badd Intentions head to the ring at a fast pace, ignoring the fans. Big Chill is bald, and is wearing long black trunks [a la Steve McMichaels]. He is also wearing a Black Leather Jacket that reads "Reign Of Terror" on the back. He is very muscular [Kerry Von Erich-type build]. Nick Patera, the bigger of the two, is big & muscular [like Sycho Sid]. He has medium length brown hair. He is wearing Black weight lifters tights with a leather weight lifters belt, and Black and Silver boots.) ER: These guys mean business! They're not waiting for the bell! They're pounding on the Express! Chill just clotheslined Kokura over the top rope, as Patera whips Kano into the ropes, catches him... Spinebuster with authority! (crowd oohhhs). They want to end this quick! AO: No, they want to punish pretty boys. Outside the ring, Chill whips Kokura into the railing, while Patera lifts up Kano, and sends him back down with a short lariat. ER: Chill rams Kokura's back to the apron, and rolls back in the ring. The ref makes him got to his corner. Meanwhile Patera drives Kano into the mat hard with a piledriver. Badd Intentions are definitely the stronger of the two teams! Kokura is slowly going to his corner, while Patera makes the tag. AO: Patera whips Kano to the ropes, ducks down, and Chill catches Kano with a powerslam. Chill picks him up, and dumps him back down with an overhead Belly to Belly suplex! These men are very good! ER: Chill now with a German release suplex... tag to Patera. Chill whips Kano into the corner... Patera grabs his partner, and whips him into the corner... clothesline by Chill... Chill rolls away... Patera charges the corner... another clothesline! (crowd ooohs again) Kano crumples like falling bricks! AO: Patera now whipping Kano into the opposite corner... he tags in Chill... it looks like they are going to do this again... Chill whips Patera into the corner... Kano Ducks under, rolls forward, and catches Chill with a vicious lariat of his own as Patera crashes face first into the corner. (fans clap approvingly) Kano turns around... runs to the corner... Dropkick to the back of Patera's head! His head just bounced off the turnbuckle! (fans clap again). ER: Kano tags Kokura... Kokura to the top rope... Kano whips to the ropes... Kokura nails him with a dropkick to the jaw! (crowd ooohss, then claps furiously) Chill is down! Kokura runs over to Patera, who is finally turning around. Kokura mounts the ropes, locks his arm behind Patera's head... spinning DDT. It looks like the Express just stole all the momentum! AO: It seems so. Chill is getting up now. Kokura nails him with a spinning kick. He staggers back, and Kokura whips him to the ropes... spinning backbreaker by Kokura. Kokura grabs the leg, and turns Chill over into a single leg Boston crab. ER: Ref is checking with Chill... Patera in the ring, and nails Kokura with a big boot to the face! Kokura falls back, releasing the hold. Both mean down in the ring... ref starts his count: One! Two! Three! Four! AO: Kokura is getting up. He tags in Kano, who catches Chill as he's getting up with a lariat. Legdrop by Kano. He goes for the pin... one... two... kickout by Chill. Kano picks him up... Presses him over his head... and dumps Chill on his head in a piledriver like maneuver. This kid is strong! ER: Well, he is 279lbs, and most of it is muscle! Kano with another legdrop... cover... one... two... thr- kickout by Chill! Kano looks pissed! Kano tags in Kokura, then slaps on a camel clutch on Chill. What is he doing? AO: Kokura comes of the ropes... Dropkick to Chill's face! (fans clap; some oooh) Good move. Kokura now putting Chill in Bow & Arrow... the referee is checking on Chill... Patera in and he stomps on Kokura's head. The ref is admonishing him as Kokura lets go of Chill. ER: Kokura gets to his feet... he's shaking his head... Chill getting up now... Kokura goes to grab him... Chill blocks, grabs, locks his arm under and behind one of Kokura's... Tazplex! Kokura's head just bounced off the mat hard! Chill heading to his corner... Kano nails him from behind with a lariat, but he makes the tag! Patera's in cleaning house! AO: Patera punching away on Kano... he whips Kano to the ropes... catches him... spine-no! Inverted Atomic Drop! Kano is rolling on the mat, screaming in pain, and holding the family jewels! Patera now clotheslines Kokura as he gets to his feet. He motions for Chill to come back in... the referee starts to count... they whip Kokura to the ropes... double flying shoulderblock on Kokura. They lift up Kano, whip him to the ropes... Double flying shoulderblock on him too. Chill now getting out of the ring... Patera is working the crowd! ER: This has been a see-saw battle all the way. Patera now with a neckbreaker on Kokura... another... another... another... another one! He's trying to break Kokura's neck! He picks Kokura up... He's slapping on a full nelson! Kokura's face is twisted with agony! AO: The referee is checking with Kokura... Kano in... he nails Patera from behind with a forearm... ref admonishes him... Chill in and he grabs Kano from behind... he's going for a suplex... Kano blocks it... elbows Chill in the head... reversal! Nice German suplex by Kano. ER: Patera slaps the Nelson on Kokura again... Suplex! Kokura's neck can't take much more... Kano German suplexes Patera from behind... the ref is finally getting him out of the ring! AO: Kokura is getting to his feet... Patera gets up... he heads over to Kokura... Kokura rolls... Tag to Kano! Kano in, and he and Patera exchanging punches. Patera is the bigger of the two, but Kano isn't backing down. Patera is starting to stagger back... Kick to the gut by Kano... Patera doubles over... Powerbomb by Kano! Legdrop by Kano! Another... another... another! Patera rolls out of the ring, and is consoled by his manager Donny. ER: Kokura comes in the ring and heads to the ropes. Kano gets between him and the ropes, blocking Patera's view. Chill yells out, but it's too late. Kano catches Kokura... throws him over his shoulder... Kokura nails Patera and Donny with a vicious plancha! Ref: One! Ref: Two! AO: All of them are down outside the ring. Chill storms the ring, but Kano catches him with an armdrag into an armbar. The referee is counting outside the ring; he doesn't see this! Ref: Three! ER: Kano up now with Chill... he grabs his throat... Chokeslam on Chill! Chill rolls out of the ring. Kano out on the apron. He measures Chill. Ref: Four! ER: Chill getting up slowly... Kano comes running off the apron, and bodypresses Chill over the railing! Security moves in to get them back ringside. Ref: Five! AO: Kokura up now, and he rolls back in the ring. Ref: Six! AO: Patera now in the ring! Good! We don't need no screwjob countout here! Kokura nails Patera with an Enzuigiri... the referee makes Kokura go back to his corner... Kano is now back on the ring. ER: Both teams have give it their all! They are all ready tired and beaten. How much more can these four men take! Patera up again... he charges Kano... powerslam by Kano. Cover... one... two... thre-kickout by Patera! That was a close one! AO: Kano has Patera up... puts him over his shoulders... Tortur... no! Samoan Drop. Kano has him up again... Northern Lights Suplex... referees starts to count... one... two... kickout! Patera is still in this! (fans clap) ER: Kano drags Patera to his corner, and tags in Kokura. Kokura to the top... Kano lifts Patera on his shoulders... What strength! Kokura off the top... Hurricanrana by Kokura! What a move! Patera looks out cold! Kokura with the cover... one... two... Chill makes the save with a vicious elbow to the back of Kokura's head! Both men down. AO: Kokura is getting to his feet... I think you are right Eddie-san; Patera looks unconscious. Kokura runs to the corner... Moonsault into a legdrop on Patera! He comes off the ropes... Somersault legdrop! (fans clap) Kokura is agile like cat! ER: And he's not done yet. He goes to the tope one more time... Shooting Star Press! (fans clap) Cover... one... two... three-no wait! Patera's leg was on the rope! Kokura thinks he's won, but the ref is now taking his hand down. Kokura is arguing with the ref. look! Patera's moving! He's trying to get up! AO: He grabs the ropes (fans clap furiously as Patera slowly rises)... he's on his feet! Kokura sees him up, runs over... Boot to the gut by Patera... facerake... referee admonishes Patera... another kick to the gut by Patera... .Powerbomb! I can't believe he still has the strength in him to do that! ER: Patera is making his way to his corner, using the ropes to keep him up... Kokura is now starting to rise himself... Patera is halfway there... Kokura's up now, shaking the cobwebs out... Patera is 3/4 of the way there... Chill reaching his hand out to tag... Kokura comes running over... Tag! Patera made the tag! Chill is in the ring, and Kokura has stopped dead in his tracks! AO: Chill and Kokura lock up... Chill grabs his waist, turns around... Overhead belly to belly suplex! Kokura land on his head again! After that powerbomb, he should be ready for the kill now! ER: Chill now with another Tazplex, dumping Kokura on his head again. Cover... one... two... thre-kickout by Kokura. Chill picks him up... goes for German suplex... reversal by Kokura... Chill goes for an elbow... Kokura ducks, releases Chill, and rolls back... Chill turns around... Enzuigiri by Kokura! (fans clap) Both men down in the ring! AO: Patera stomping his foot on the apron... some fans are playing noisemakers! Kokura is getting to his feet... He reaches over... tag to Kano. Kano in now, and he Tazplexes Chill. Another... another... another... a Fifth Tazplex! Chill looks like he is in a coma! ER: Kokura is going to the top rope... Kano sets Chill up... Powerbomb by Kano! Moonsault legdrop by Kokura! That's the "Train Wreck"! Kokura rolls out of the ring... cover by Kano... one... two... thre Patera breaks the count with a stomp to the back of Kano's head! They were so close! AO: The referee is making Patera go back to his corner. Kano whips Chill to the ropes... spinebuster. He drops the leg... cover... one... two... thr-Patera again breaks the count. Kano whips Chill to the ropes again... he goes for a spinebuster... Chill bounces off him with a dropkick! (fans clap furiously) What a counter! ER: Kano falls to the ropes... Chill trying to get up... Kano staggers over... Chill is up... Kano goes for a lariat... Chill ducks under, kicks him low... Piledriver! Chill tags in Patera! AO: The time limit is almost up! Patera Piledrives Kano again into the mat. He's signaling the crowd... He's putting Kano on his shoulders... Chill slowly goes to the top rope... Kano trying to fight Patera, but Patera is too strong... Chill comes off the top rope... Doomsday Device on Kano! Kano did a 360 in the air! (fans oooh) ER: Chill rolls out of the ring as Patera covers Kano... This could be it... one... two... thre-Kokura just nailed Patera with a somersault legdrop off the top rope! (fans clap; others oooh) AO: The referee is making Kokura go back to his corner. Chill in... Fisherman's Buster on Kano. He rolls Patera on top of Kano, and goes back to this corner. ER: The ref turns around see the cover... one... two... thre- Kokura breaks it up with another somersault legdrop! Chill in now... he's going after Kokura... both men slugging it out... referee trying to separate them... Patera is getting to his feet... Kano starting to rise... referee now has Kokura and Chill separated... Kano goes for a lariat, but Patera ducks under... kick to gut by Patera... He picks Kano up high in a suplex position... and drops him down into a tombstone! I've never seen a man as big as Patera do a Tiger Driver before! Only Scott Steiner, and Patera is a lot bigger than him! AO: Patera with the cover... one... two... thre (DING DING!) Patera got him! ER: I think the time limit expired. AO: No, he got him! (Referee talks to ring announcer as he steps into ring) Ring Announcer: The referee has informed me that the time limit has expired. His decision: This match is a DRAW (fans clap furiously, and throw many streamers into the ring) AO: A screwjob! I knew it! ER: Akira, shut up! That was a great match! Both teams gave it their all! I can't wait to see the other teams get it on! AO: Pfahh! What is the next match? ER: I'll tell you after this quick commercial!
