Moditian Announces Formation Of Super Hyper
Visual Fighting (10/17/98) After days of speculation and rumors, Hadi Moditian made it offical today in a press conference outside the Tokyo Dome as he announced that he will debut a new hybrid wrestling promotion, Super Hyper Visual Fighting, in a few weeks with a special on TV Tokyo (Channel 12). Major Developments In SJPW (10/16/98) SJPW's stables grew significantly as Chiimu Tora's reformation was made official. As well, Kenshiro Matsumoto, formerly of JIWWA, has been hired as an official of SJPW, having been named Jumbo Kobayashi's special enforcer, to see that his instructions/orders are carried out by wrestlers like Super Tengu. New Style Of Federation To Emerge? (10/14/98) Rising from the ashes like a Phoenix reborn, the organizers of the former Pro Japan Wrestling may be bringing a new hybrid-style federation into existence - Strong Style Wrestling! JIWWA To Close Down (10/09/98) Sadly, after only a short time in operation, the Japanese Independent Women's Wrestling Association has announced that it will already be closing its doors due to financial and administrative problems. This is especially sad news considering they were less than a week away from a highly anticipated show at the Tokyo Dome. SJPW Clarifies Title Situation (10/5/98) SJPW announced that Koubousen Geijutsu champion Toshiaki "The Pyro" Takada has rejoined the roster, retaining his title in the process. Further continuity is provided in that The Bonecrushers are still the All-Asian tag team champions.
