The Regulator versus La Verdugo
Highlights:  The G-Pro debut for the masked Regulator saw him face off against the Tijuana madman La Verdugo (The Torturer) in a no-disqualification match.  As could be expected in these types of matches, neither wrestler wasted time taking advantage of the stipulation.  Verdugo attacked as The Regulator was walking down the aisle, and the two brawled into the ringside area.  After a brief period of whipping each other into the ring railing, the ring apron, steps and anything else they could find, Verdugo got his hands on a steel fold-up chair, which he proceeded to pummel Regulator with.  However, the tide turned when Regulator dropkicked the chair back into Verdugo's face, opening up a large cut on the Mexican's face.  After a brief respite, Regulator set up a ringside table and dragged Verdugo into the ring.  The battle resumed in the more traditional setting, with Verdugo fighting back with a thumb in the eye, followed by a powerbomb.  A two count was followed by Verdugo going to the top rope.  He jumped off with a moonsault, but Regulator managed to get his knees up, knocking the wind out of the Mexican luchador.  It was just about all over, as Regulator dragged Verdugo to his feet by the ropes, near where the set up table was at ringside.  He set Verdugo up for a powerbomb/piledriver, and then hoisted him into the air, throwing him over the top rope and through the table with an Awesome Bomb.  The fans were really getting into this Jisatsu match, when Regulator rolled an unconscious Verdugo back into the ring and made the easy 1-2-3.
Winner:  The Regulator
Result:  Pinfall in 6:44

"The Flyer" Jinsei Shakanuzi versus El Mago
Highlights:  In a rare singles outing for Shakanuzi since he turned against his former International Brotherhood teammates, the "Flyer" was completely dominant over El Mago (The Sorcerer).  He attacked before the bell, and then immediately nailed Mago with a piledriver, the move they hate to see in Mexico.  The fans were by now loudly booing Shakanuzi, but he seemed to be enjoying the attention.  A running Ligerbomb was followed by Shakanuzi's finishing move, the Capoeira Dance, and the easy 1-2-3.
Winner:  Shakanuzi
Result:  Pinfall in 2:15

Bram Black versus Cuervo
Highlights:  Unlike Shakanuzi and The Regulator, it wasn't an easy night for Bram Black, the newly crowned Jisatsu champion.  Black stepped away from the hardcore stuff for one match, facing Mexican legend Cuervo in a normal heavyweight match.  The fans absolutely loved this match, cheering both men louder than anyone else on this night.  Black has developed a fanatical following in Mexico, the fans loving his rough-and-tumble nature.  After a handshake, the match started with Cuervo opting to take the match to the mat.  Black tried his best to handle the situation, but it was clear that Cuervo was the better mat technician, having Black in trouble of several occasions with armbars, legscissors, anklelocks, and even an attempt at the deadly Jujigatame, which saw Black hurry to the ropes to escape.  Once both men returned to their feet, Cuervo tried to further weaken Black's legs with a series of kicks, but the tide turned when Black caught a leg and flattened Cuervo with one of his patented short lariats.  Black kept the pressure on with a series of slams, the odd back-elbow and a very impressive brainbuster DDT almost got the three count, but Cuervo kicked out to the joy of the fans.  Cuervo fought back with more kicks, but missed a senton attempt, which saw Black get a two-count after the ensuing Hotshot.  Some more mat wrestling was followed by Cuervo going to the top rope for a big move, but Black caught him on top.  Cuervo sent Black flying back to the mat with a forearm smash, but Black was relentless in climbing straight back up.  He ducked another attempted forearm smash, and turned it into a super Hangman's drop, his patented chokeslam into an Ace Crusher/Stone Cold Stunner.
Winner:  Black
Result:  Pinfall in 9:34

The Banshee versus Estrago
Highlights:  In his first in-ring appearance since winning the International Super-Middleweight title at Luchamania '98, the popular Banshee was in fine form against the luchador Estrago.  The fans even cheered Banshee louder than their revered countryman, showing the respect Banshee has at the moment.  The match never really got a chance to get going, with Estrago missing several key moves, including slipping on the top rope and landing facefirst on the mat.  Banshee didn't miss a beat though, dominating with a spinning leg lariat, hurracanrana and running dropkick before getting the 1-2-3 after the Scream Machine (top rope flying somersault splash).
Winner:  Banshee
Result:  Pinfall in 4:39

Main event - Wildcat/McQuaid/Storm versus Infierno
Highlights:  "Wildcat" Jim Lewis Jr.'s version of the International Brotherhood hasn't had much luck lately, especially after "Wildcat" lost the captaincy of the team at Luchamania '98.  Just as this match was about to take place, Jinsei Shakanuzi came out with a microphone and demanded that the match not take place.  He said that "Wildcat" was no longer leader of the IB, so he had no right signing for this match.  He then demanded that McQuaid and Storm attack "Wildcat", trying to use his power as IB leader.  However, "Wildcat's" friends weren't about to do that, and let Shakanuzi know in plain sign language.  Shakanuzi threw a tantrum, and fired Storm and McQuaid from IB on the spot, before storming off.  The match then started, but after only a couple of minutes Shakanuzi appeared again, this time with a chair.  He clocked anyone in sight, including the referee, Infierno members, "Wildcat" and Jason Storm, before Simon McQuaid got the chair off him and chased Shakanuzi up the aisle.
